Febulous
Have been out clubbing and drinking recently.
Went to Ministry Of Sound for the first time on 4th of Feb, Saturday night, slightly more than 2 weeks ago. It's about time I tried the place out since it has been launched for such a long time already.
Anyway, I went there with Leslie, Rihao and some of their friends.
It's being hell of a long time since I met them and catched up with our times. They have been in the working life for quite some while and it's quite a relief to know that I would be joining them in a matter of interviews as I had taken my pink IC the day before.
I would be working towards my career like them as soon as I get myself a job to begin with.
As soon as I finished doing my resume.
As soon as I started sending them out.
As soon as I got some responses from the companies.
As soon as I am selected after a non-confirmed interview.
That was me about 2 weeks back.
Now I am just waiting for an interview.
Upon reaching MOS at around 10pm, I was quite amazed to see that there wasn't much of a queue. After hearing so much news about the waiting time and all, I was actually mentally prepared if there was really a Hello Kitty craze going on.
We were still waiting for the rest of the people to arrive so we didn't enter the place at first.
We went to get some drinks and got back after an hour to meet up with the rest.
The queue was building up in masses so naturally it triggered us to join in even though we were still waiting for another guy.
However, the queue was moving fast to a certain extent and I was rather impressed.
If not, I would have been mentally and physically depressed.
Quite a big place to begin with.
With different kinds of rooms and settings,
each with their own music genre.
I like the main arena the most.
Simply because the other 2 happening rooms like Retro and R&B are not my type.
The Retro music that's being played in MOS is not the kind Zouk plays in Mambo. Not those kind of songs which one can easily do synchronized dancing with everyone else by trying to flag a
bus or cab repeatedly using both arms like playing a gigantic drum in slow motion.
It's those kind of music which even my parents would consider it to be Retro.
My grandfather would probably do a headspin in the middle of the dance floor if he was there.
(Unfortunately, he had passed away but not from my heart.)
The R&B is pretty much like what they play in Club Momo.
The kind of crowd you get is also pretty much expected and is usually what you get when there's R&B regardless of where the place is.
I am not into R&B in the first place,
not to mention having to see the crowd and being more turned off.
How do one pronounce the word MOS?
It's like saying 'Moss'.
Or maybe 'malls'.
But the question is...
How do you know if a Malay is going to MOS on a Friday night?
He would probably be telling you that he's going to a Mosque for Friday Prayers.
And not to Bling Bling.
It's confusing sometimes.
Best to say Ministry of Sound in full, or I might end up at a MOS Burger outlet sometime soon without realising it.
Went to Box Office on the following Friday.
Ivan, Jonathan, Xuguang, Me in Gay pose, Brandon.
Baby and Me.
This is what happens when you don't want me in a picture.
I will still appear in it one way or another.
Brandon tried to push me away,
but to be pushing me on the tummy is just like having a spring return effect.
Went to Dble O last Friday.
Brandon and Amanda.
Apparently, Jonathan was right behind Amanda at that moment of time.
I do not know for sure what he was doing at her back but it really made him feel shiok from the look on his face.
That's me beside Jonathan doing a hardcore tongue sticking out pose.
I was trying to act like a happening dude by showing that I had a tiny ecstasy pill in my mouth.
Luckily I didn't shake my head beside the speakers or go into a deep trance and forgetting where I live after consuming it,
because it's just a Clorets mint.
You may have seen View from the Top starring Gwyneth Paltrow.
But have you seen View from the Bottom like I did.
Brandon did mention that it was quite crude the way I looked up at her, a friend of Amanda's.
If that was crude,
then how in God's name do you define a guy staring at another guy's nipple?
That was the last straw I had.
After that night, I deleted Jonathan's profile on my handphone and told myself to stay away from him as distant as possible.
Due to popular demand, countless fan mails and calls...
I have no choice but to post another individual photo of myself.
Last but not least,
I have booked my driving and the Basic Theory test falls on the 2nd of March. (Finally)
I would have taken it if my dad offered to sponsor me when I turned 18.
Well, he agreed to do so a week ago so here I come. (Why did it have to be when I am already 26?)
Time to take out my Kamasutra hand book and study the Basic Theories first.
