Incurable Addiction

Carrom.

I am beginning to wonder if that game is satanic or not.
It gives out a kind of aura which captures the heart of an unawared person.
As long as the person touches the board or seeds, he/she will be pretty much tempted to start a game. And this will carry on until the curse is being uplifted by a holy priest of some kind.
Someone like Marilyn Manson.

I am very sad to say that...
most of us in MCC have been involved in this tragedy for a very long time.
Even such a handsome and kind hearted soul like myself was not spared. We are like slaves of the carrom board.
Minions of the devilish pastime.
Whenever there is a chance,
or when there isn't,
we would still find all possible ways to lay our hands on it.

Lunch time is always the best time to be doing anything else besides work. Preferably to eat something so as to keep oneself from hunger.
Sacrifices are made whenever carrom is in the picture. People would rather skip lunch to play it than eating a good meal to replenish one's energy. Some would enjoy the best of both worlds by eating and playing at the same time. Even spending a little time alone to finish up a meal is too much to ask for. But for those who are eating and playing at the same time... they need to know where to avoid putting their packet of food on. Placing them underneath the holes of the carrom board would result in having extra ingredients of unedible wooden seeds.
I, myself have attained immortality through carrom, and there wasn't a need for me to be eating at all during lunch.

Yesterday Kong sacrificed his lunch over carrom.
We were playing together and I could hear him complaining on how hungry he was. He tried to call Li Soon to buy back for him but was in vain. The reception of some of the zones in Cmpb are horrible. It is as though the place is being built underground and far away from civilisation. Kong couldn't get to him and continued trying after some time. Time passed real quick and lunch break was going to be over. Despite several attempts, Kong didn't manage to get to Li Soon so he had to forget about having a proper meal.
Kong could have starved himself and his health would be greatly affected.
All because of carrom.
Luckily he had a spare packet of potato chips to munch on. If not I think he might seek revenge and feast on the wooden carrom board instead.

To sum everything all up,
carrom is slowly taking over us.
It is also the only activity which can help solve our stressful problems.

If there are grudges between you and me,
keep them inside you.
Not happy with me?
Put time and place.(usually would be in the mess room, but if requested, the board can be moved elsewhere too.)
Unleash all your fury and hatred...
Show me what you are made of...

We settle everything in carrom.
